It’s MS Awareness Month

There are many things we can (and most of us do) to contribute everday.  This month its Multiple Sclerosis.

There are walks, volunteer options, and donations. Everything has a different purpose and every part helps! Information on different opportunities is available here: http://mssociety.ca/en/

For example, a friend of mine Adam Barefoot is entering a walk and can really use our support.  More information on the walk is available here and Adam’s link for the walk is available here.

Osama Bin Laden – Dead… again…

Today, Canadian news agencies went into a fervor over reports that Osama Bin Laden was found dead in Columbia.

A bit more on the story:  Wikipedia says:

On May 1, 2011, President Obama announced that bin Laden was killed earlier that day by “a small team of Americans” acting under his direct orders, in a covert operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan, 150km north of Islamabad.[142][143], affirming earlier confirmation by US officials to the media.[144] DNA from bin Laden’s body, compared with DNA samples on record from his dead sister, confirmed bin Laden’s identity.[145] The body was recovered by the US military and is currently in its custody.[142]

President Obama said that the operation was conducted with assistance from the Pakistani government.
